High above the crimson canyon walls
Lonely condo circus as the twilight falls
The giant shadow of the ancient stone
He sees a streak of light and a lone silhouette
One solitary rider
On the winding trail
Dust rising slow
In the evening gale
The horizon stretches out so wide and deep
Waking up the canyon from its quiet sleep
Leaving all the shadows of the past behind
Looking for the peace
I couldn't find
Riding free beneath the desert sky
Where the wild winds run and the condors fly.
Out of the shadows and into the sun
My new life has only just begun
